The Blue Coat Certified PacketShaper Administrator (BCPSA) 2 day introductory level course is intended for IT professionals who wish to develop their basic knowledge and skills to manage an installed Blue Coat PacketShaper on a daily basis. It is intended for users who want to apply new PacketShaper features that deliver integrated visibility, control and compression capabilities in a single appliance. After completing this course you will be able to:
- understand the functionality and features of the hardware and software platforms
- install a unit for a straight-forward deployment using basic parameters
- gain visibility into network applications and generate basic reports
- apply Classes, Partitions and Policies
- carry out essential administration and management
Note that the course concentrates on the use of the Legacy browser interface, but does explain and provide experience with the Sky interface.
