Main Topics
The BlueCoat Certified Proxy Administrator (BCCPA) Course is intended for students who wish to master the fundamentals of BlueCoat Products.
This course is a revised version of the course formerly known as Proxy Fundamentals. You should not take the BCCPA course if you have already taken the Proxy Fundamentals Course. Instead, you should take the BCCPA Upgrade course, which covers new material not included in the Proxy Fundamentals class.

The BCCPA Course focuses on BlueCoat's most recent operating system. Students will learn about the HTTP protocol, ProxySG deployment strategies, and initial setup. Students will als learn about the Management Console, Visual Policy Manager, and will receive instruction in authentication, policy management, and URL filtering.
Additionally, the course provides effective strategies for managing downloads, instant messaging, and peer-to-peer applications. Access logging, Reporter, reverse proxy deployments, and ProxyAV are also covered in detail.
