Students should have basic networking knowledge and an understanding of the OSI model and the TCP/IP protocol suite.

This course provides students with the skills for configuration, operation, and implementation of JUNOS security platforms in a typical network environment. This course is based on JUNOS Software version 10.1R1.8,and represents the bundle of the Juniper Introduction to Junos Software (IJOS), the Juniper Junos Routing Essentials (JRE) and the Juniper Junos for Security Platforms (JSEC).

Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience in monitoring basic device operations and in configuring and monitoring the Junos OS for SRX Series devices.
