Course Content

• F5® Overview - Get an overview of the training, including an understanding of the F5 strategy and product portfolio.
• TMOS®  - Learn how F5’s TMOS operating system gives users flexibility and adaptability for any network.
• BIG-IP® Local Traffic Manager™ (LTM) - Delve into the essential components of BIG-IP LTM, as well as load balancing and security.
• BIG-IP® Global Traffic Manager™ (GTM) -Look closer at the deployment architectures of BIG-IP GTM and specific load balancing methods.
• BIG-IP® Application Security Manager™ (ASM) -Explore the basics of BIG-IP ASM, including web app vulnerabilities and advanced protection features.
• BIG-IP® Access Policy Manager™ (APM) - Get configuration and access control options with BIG-IP APM.
• BIG-IP® WebAccelerator™ - Find out how BIG-IP WebAccelerator can improve acceleration.
• BIG-IP® WAN Optimization Module™ (WOM) - Learn how BIG-IP WOM helps overcome replication challenges.
• ARX® - Get the latest on intelligent file virtualization and the benefits of using ARX.
• Enterprise Manager™ - Find out how Enterprise Manager can meet business demands with centralized management.
• Platforms - Learn how the BIG-IP and ARX platforms differentiate F5 from competitors.

At the end of the course, you will sit the Technical Sales Exams. You will need to bring a laptop with you to do this.

Pre Course Work:

As we will be covering a lot of material during the day (the equivalent of 9 hours online), you are required to register on the F5 Partner site and to complete certain modules.

Detail:

1. Register on the partner site as follows .
2. Complete Section 1 (TMOS, LTM, GTM Modules)  including the exam before they attend.  This means that everyone who turns up will be registered as a partner ready to take the other exams. It also ensures there is an understanding of the core modules GTM/LTM and allows us to spend some time on the security and acceleration add-on modules. 
3. I encourage you to register asap as it takes approx. 48 hours to get full access to the F5 University.
