The promotion offers our partners an opportunity to displace installed Websense, McAfee, IronPort or other competitive filtering product with Blue Coat best in class security and acceleration for all your customer’s web and business applications.  In a Web 2.0 world, your customers need a much deeper level of security than Websense provides them. With this promotion, Blue Coat is giving Channel Advantage Partners the opportunity to offer a superior solution, with better revenue yields for you.  With a 20% additional discount on the ProxySG, and the opportunity for a new WebFilter sale after the promotional license expires, partners will get more profits while offering their customers the best available security solution.

Promotions:

Qualification:         End-User customer must be an existing user of Websense. 

End-User Benefit:   Buy ProxySG with 1, 2, or 3 years support and get FREE WebFilter for term of initial SG purchased. After initial promotion term, end user must purchase WebFilter. 

Partner Benefit:     All Channel Advantage Partners that show a Websense displacement will receive an additional 20% deal registration discount on top of their normal CAT-A discount.

How to get improved margin: Additional Discounts

Additional Terms and Conditions:

-             Promotion available through April 30, 2011.

-             Offer available to all Blue Coat Channel Advantage Partners in good standing, worldwide. Good standing is defined as having no past due invoices payable to Blue Coat.

-             All opportunities must have an approved deal registration number (DAN) on the purchase order to receive the additional discount.

-             All orders require a user count listed for the WebFilter license.

-             Partner must make a joint sales call with Blue Coat and show proof of prior Websense install.

-             Proof of displacement includes: A valid or recently expired Websense license.

-             A promotional code of “WEBTKO” must be entered on the deal registration form and also noted on the purchase order with the DAN number.

-             Websense TAKEOUT promotional pricing is not available without an approved DAN number.

-             Customer must purchase a ProxySG platform, please note product SKU’s listed in the table.

-             No other NSP’s, Programs or Promotions can be used in conjunction with WEBTKO promotion discount.

-             Blue Coat reserves the right to change or modify this promotion at any time without notification.
